Road Closures

Please be aware of the following road closures on Boxing Day to allow the Pram Race to take place safely.

The Windlesham Pram Race on Boxing Day

Road Closures from 9:30am

Please be aware of the following road closures:

  • Chertsey Road (Highams Lane to Kings Lane) — closed from 09:30am to 12pm. Will re-open after the last runners have passed Kings Lane.
  • Chertsey Road (Kings Lane to the Village Centre) — closed from 09:30am to 1pm. Will re-open after the last runners have passed The Sun.
  • Updown Hill to Pound Lane — closed from 09:30am to 1pm. Will re-open after the last runners have passed through the bottom of Pound Lane.
  • Church Road (bottom of Pound Lane to Matthews Corner) — closed from 10am to 1pm. Will re-open after the last runners have passed Kemps.
  • Kennel Lane (Matthews Corner to Westwood Road) — closed from 09:30am to 2pm, or until the last runners have passed the end of Westwood Road.
  • Kennel Lane (Westwood Road to Pound Lane) — closed from 09:30am to 3pm.
